Plex is available on Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, and all the major streaming platforms. You can use it to import artwork and other metadata, display subtitles, play multiple audio tracks, automatically organize your content into collections, and more. Each version of the Plex app operates slightly differently. Today, we want to focus on the desktop app for Windows and Mac. Specifically, we're going to introduce you to some of the most useful Plex keyboard shortcuts. After all, no one wants to be fiddling around with a mouse just to change the volume in the middle of a movie.
Plex today is launching a new desktop application for Mac and Windows, with the goal of eventually replacing Plex Media Player as the company's only desktop solution. The app's arrival.
Plex For Windows
The shortcuts are split into three sections: Navigation, Playback, and Troubleshooting. Some shortcuts use the same hotkeys, depending on which mode you're in.
- Plex provides two major services to its users: an individual client-server to manage your personal media, as well as a streaming service providing one place for users' externally-purchased or accessed content including music, TV, movies, and podcasts.
- Earlier today, the Plex Media Player app was completely removed from the Windows 10 Microsoft Store app store and it was announced that support for it would completely end by January of next year.
- 'Interfacing Software' means any software that you obtain or provide and that accesses or calls any PMS Software provided by Plex as part of the Plex Solution including, but not limited to, plug-ins for the Plex Solution, channel plug-ins, metadata agents, and client applications that communicate directly or indirectly with the Plex.
- My desktop Windows 10 PC with latest drivers and Windows updates, has the following specs: Ryzen 3900X, RTX 3070, and 32GB RAM. Pretty high-end stuff.
